The SCAA Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program provides peer-assisted, collaborate, and active study sessions that improve understanding of subject content, fosters critical thinking, and encourages life-long learning to classes that are considered “at risk” (i.e. large lecture classes).
If you are a faculty member interested in having an SI Leader for your course, the SCAA takes requests up to the end of week 8 of the preceding semester. For instance, if you would like an SI Leader for Spring, please contact Waffaa Hanna (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than Friday, week 8 of Fall.
